Race Report - CANAM Team Event

Privateer Racing pulled off another win in the CANAM Team Event on Sunday June 1st. Congratulations to all drivers! Ed Butler was the top Privateer finisher with 3 others finishing in the top 10.

Privateer Racing - Drivers Released

It is unfortunate to announce that Privateer Racing is forced to release 3 drivers in order to meet the new CANAM Racing team driver cap. Nate McNeely, Chuck Chambliss and Tim Francis have been released. You guys are top notch drivers and I feel absolutely horrible for the nessasary move to meet league rules.

Race Report - USA Speedway

Privateer brought home the ARCA Team Trophy tonight at USA Speedway. Great job by all Privateer Drivers tonight as we pulled off the win at this event. Though the race was caution filled, we managed to keep the majority of our race cars clean. At one point Privateer drivers held the top 5 positions on track. Thanks to all the Privateers!

Privateer Racing - Recuritment

I'm glad to report that Privateer Racing has picked up another driver for the ARCA Team Series. Chuck Chambliss joins us from the Mac Red Line Racing League where he's been racing for the last 6 years. His oval and road course experience will be an asset to the team. Welcome to Privateer Chuck.

Race Report - ARCA Kansas

Privateer Racing had 7 entries in the ARCA Kansas race tonight. Steve Vaughan finished a strong 4th place. Wes Stought finished 7th, he was set to finish 3rd when he came up short on fuel and had to pit with a lap to go in the race. Ed Butler found trouble in the early laps of the race but stuck it out and finished 8th. Kelvin Howell finished 13th having to park it early due to handling issues and the 2 spin rule. Jake Francis finished 24 having to park early because of the 2 spin rule. Bob Cowden finished 25th having found trouble early. Tim Francis finished 27th after having a first lap incident with another driver that spun in front of him. A good turn out though and things will improve on track as we learn our way around the ARCA stock cars.

Race Report - Watkins Glen

Privateer Racing was back at Watkins Glen tonight participating in the CANAM League's Speed Week event. Steve Vaughan, Jake Francis, and Kelvin Howell were on hand and enjoying the laps in preparation for this seasons Fabcar Team Series. Privateer picked up a 2nd (Vaughan), 3rd (Francis) and 8th (Howell) place.

Race Report - Watkins Glen

Privateer drivers Steve Vaughan, Kelvin Howell and Jake Francis participated in a practice run of the Porsche FABCAR Series over the weekend at Watkins Glen. Driver swaps were practiced as the team readies themselves for the up coming team events this season.
